Sunglasses live at the bottom of a bag. They get scratched, they get lost, they get sat on. This is the alternative: a slim nappa leather sleeve you wear across the body, so they're never buried and always exactly where your hand expects them.

The leather is soft, unlined nappa — no stiffening, no structure. It gives a little, and it softens with you. A hand-knotted leather cord runs through gold-plated brass eyelets and draws the top closed. The strap is a fixed length, cut so the case rests just above the hip — high enough to stay out of your way when you sit, low enough to reach without looking. It is broken by oversized gold-plated brass links, because something you use every day is allowed to be beautiful.

Then you choose what hangs from it. The Chai (חי): life, eighteen, the number we give in multiples when we wish someone well. Or the Hamsa: the open hand, worn for protection for three thousand years. Your charm arrives in gold-plated brass, clipped to the first link beside a small engraved Oriya disc — and because it clips rather than hangs fixed, you can move it onto a bag, a keyring or a bracelet whenever you like.

It takes sunglasses, reading glasses, a phone, a lipstick, a folded note. Over a heavy knit in winter, over almost nothing in August.
